Creative think-tank, Holiday Matinee is seriously making good things happen here at theHIVE. They just launched a brand new web store that focuses on giving exposure to great artists and providing socially conscious design with an affordable price-tag. And just when you thought they couldn’t make it any better, HM’s Artist Series line of shirts give 100% of the proceeds to Plant-it 2020, a non-profit that will “plant, maintain and protect” 20 trees for every item purchased. Check out the new store here, buy some awesome shirts and give Holiday Matinee a pat on the back next time you run in to them.
The Swarm conference room was put to use by Karl Strauss for an off-site creative marketing meeting to help stimulate out-of-the-box thinking. Thanks for leaving behind some refreshing goodies!

We decided to give you a visual treat from the FOCUS event held last month at theHIVE. The fashion industry networking event, focused on recycling and reusing garments and materials and acted as a fashion swap, amateur styling contest & a platform for green education – watch the video and get a taste for what theHIVE has to offer
The guys from SEZIO and HolidayMatinee had a makeshift, in-office screen printing day at theHIVE yesterday. They did a limited run of shirts and posters using nothing but ink, a 120-mesh screen, a cardboard box and a clipboard. Pretty impressive.
On Tuesday we held a creative meetup here at theHIVE. Society6 presented and launched their brand new website and it is fresh! Society6 is a cool site that allows organization to post grants and allows artists to easily apply for grants and post their work. It’s an awesome concept – check out the pictures from the meetup at the HIVE
Not like that’s anything new for these guys, but we wanted to share some photos of their space here at the HIVE that they have tailored to fit their style – although you can throw dual apple monitors just about any where and make it look like a dope work space! picaluv.’s attention to detail is something we admire here and don’t hesitate to show off. Check it out -
