Head on up to the rooftop of the W Hotel for a FREE, all-levels vinyassa flow class with Jeanie Carlstead, a renown yoga instructor of La Jolla Yoga Center, tonight at 6:00pm. You’re in for a good yoga workout, followed by a glass of wine, appetizers and a music set by DJ Tone Capone. Yoga, wine, and music, on the rooftop of the W — sounds pretty perfect to me.

Biking is the smart way to get around, is good for you and your bod, allows you to enjoy these clear, blue skies, AND, all the Hiver’s are doing it! theHIVE has a gang of bikes lined up inside it’s quarters this morning. Happy to see our workers rolling in on two-wheels.

Urban Art Cycle Cruise

Sezio, a good friend of theHIVE, Set & Drift, and Turista Libre will gather this weekend to cycle and soar through the city streets stopping to check out the urban art installations that adorn Tijuego (Tijuana + San Diego). Hop on your bikes and come join the crew. You’ve got two awe-inspiring routes to choose from. Option 1: TJ Ride // Saturday, July 31st // 1:00 pm, meet at the gates on the South side of the pedestrian border crossing in Colonia Federal // After-party at Pop Diner starting at 4 pm. Option 2: SD Ride // Sunday, August 1 // 11:00 am // Meet at Urban Outfitters, Hillcrest by the Obey mural // The ride will finish at MCASD Downtown at 2 pm // After-party at Super El Camino in Little Italy at 4 pm. What better way to spend your Saturday and Sundays, cruising through a cultural art explosion?
